Craft updates- show info and new items!

Hi all, it's been a few days since my last blog entry. First off... I'm only a few days out from my 1st fall craft show of the season. The fall shows are usually the best in central NJ, as the lure of the ocean and boardwalk has diminished. Fall festival shows are usually well attended in these parts. Local decoy shows and flea markets are often mobbed and when there's activities for children (like at the festival this weekend) and decent weather the place gets mobbed with folks.

Mother Nature looks like she'll cooperate this Saturday. The show is the Eagleswood Fall Festival in Ocean Co, NJ. and there is something for every member of the family! If you're in the area, stop by my table (CreationsByRobin) and say HI!!

Okay, I know I've been talking about making my beach glass creations and now that the pre-drilled pieces have arrived, I've been slow to get started on them. I'm still knitting scarves during my lunch-break (when I don't need to run to Michael's or AC Moore for supplies) and I've just love creating poly clay pendants at night.

When I haven't been concentrating on completing unfinished projects, I've been making pendants. I've put a couple in my ETSY shop and they've picked up quite a few views, almost immediately. I have a couple more I'll be adding to my shop over the next couple of days, mostly Halloween, and the bulk of the pendants will list after this weekend's show.

I've included a picture of a few of the pendants that aren't yet in my ETSY shop as a preview. These all have a sheer ribbon necklace or silver chain attached and I'll also offer pendants with or w/o chains (chains and ribbons extra). I also have made sets of magnets with similar prints. Seasonal trees, animals, flowers and Halloween all come in packs of 6 magnets and I have magnets that are perfect for Mom's that have young school students, with colorful happy faces and little sayings, such as "you did it" & "well done" & "good effort" to hang up those great test grades and class work. Great for teachers and even better for the proud child to see their hard work displayed on the fridge.

Yes, I've been busy and so many of these items, along with over 100 pieces of jewelry and at least a dozen more scarves have yet to make it to my ETSY shop.

And I promise to make those beach glass creations real soon. ; )

Til next time...

Thank You! I love the blue on the terracotta background and I so love butterflies (and dragonflies!) I've got about 30 or so pendants that I'll be listing after this weekend's craft show.
